Terms of Service

Axiom Analytics Labs LLC is a California limited liability company operating an independent analytical characterization and certificate-of-analysis (COA) verification service. We do not manufacture, compound, cultivate, distribute, sell, or hold any financial stake in any substance we test. We provide data and verification only.

Our flagship design is the 4X Essential panel (identity, purity, mass, and required Rapid microbial DNA), with an optional 8X Comprehensive panel. Axiom owns and operates the required methods and accepts paid 4X, 8X, DX, and applicable microbial-service samples into controlled custody and the analytical queue. Rapid microbial DNA is a molecular target screen, not USP <71>. USP <71> is separately selected, requires its additional culture-container allocation, and carries no less than 14 days of incubation. PASS requires locked face-up criteria, actual observations, run evidence, and authorized review. Unresolved qualification or criterion findings are surfaced to our staff for resolution and do not block entry, signing, or release.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, including sample identity, lot details, and shipping information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your portal credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our acceptable-use expectations.

You represent that any sample you submit is lawfully possessed and submitted strictly for research, analytical, or quality-control purposes. Axiom does not evaluate or opine on the safety, efficacy, toxicity, regulatory status, or legality of any substance for human or animal consumption, clinical, veterinary, food, cosmetic, or household use. Nothing in a COA constitutes medical, clinical, regulatory, or legal advice.

Physical instrument analysis is performed within Axiom's laboratory network, allocated at Axiom's discretion based on method, capacity, and order volume, by laboratories engaged under confidentiality. Axiom performs sample accession, chain of custody, analytical oversight, and data review, and issues and is responsible for the certificate. Where analysis is subcontracted, the methods applied to your samples (including LC-MS/MS identity and quantitative HPLC peptide-content analysis) are performed within the partner laboratory's published ISO/IEC 17025 scope of accreditation for those methods, not merely at a laboratory that holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Scope-level accreditation of the applicable methods is a requirement in our partner selection.

Where partner laboratories are used, samples are handled under double-blind conditions: client identity and branding are removed, samples are identified only by an internal lot identifier, and partner laboratory identities are not disclosed to clients. The laboratory record is the controlling source of truth regardless of where analysis is performed.

• You warrant that you have the legal right to submit each sample and that submission does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right.
• Samples may be consumed, altered, or destroyed in the course of testing. We are not responsible for the loss of sample material inherent to analysis.
• Unless a separate written retention agreement applies, residual sample material and submission packaging may be disposed of after testing and a reasonable retention window.
• You are responsible for compliant, accurately declared shipping. Do not ship anything you are not legally permitted to ship.

• Each released COA is sealed with an Ed25519 signature over a SHA-384 hash of its canonical payload. The laboratory record (not any downloaded or printed copy) is the controlling source of truth.
• Corrections are issued as a new version; superseded versions are retained and the revision history is visible on verification.
• The verification interface and lab public key are provided so that authenticity can be confirmed independently, without relying on trust in Axiom.
• You may share COAs and report identifiers with your own customers. You may not alter, forge, or misrepresent a COA, or present an altered copy as authentic.

Fees for analytical services are presented at the point of order. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are due as invoiced and are non-refundable once testing has commenced, except as required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of order.

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent the identity, origin, or ownership of a submitted sample;
• Use the Services to facilitate any unlawful activity or to evade applicable law;
• Forge, tamper with, or falsely attribute a COA or verification result;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the portal, other accounts, or our systems; or
• Scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Services except as permitted by law.

The website, software, report templates, method descriptions, branding, and the Axiom name and marks are owned by Axiom Analytics Labs LLC or its licensors. You retain ownership of your own sample data; by submitting a sample you grant us the license necessary to test it, produce and store the COA, and operate the verification service. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve our methods and Services.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

A result reflects only the specific item or portion tested, by the stated method, at the time of testing. A PASS designation means only that the reported result met the specification shown. See our Research Use & Disclaimers for the full scope of testing limitations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axiom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axiom Analytics Labs LLC, its officers, employees, and laboratory partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your submitted samples, your use of the Services, your representations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute not subject to binding arbitration shall be the state and federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
